Six people were arrested during a proactive operation targeting acquisitive crime across Hertsmere, including four arrests following a warrant at an address in Borehamwood. Officers from Op Stylo, neighbourhood policing teams, the Mobile Support Team and OSG carried out intelligence-led activity to target offenders involved in burglary, vehicle crime and other criminality. The warrant, executed at an address in Ashdown Drive, Borehamwood, resulted in four arrests for offences including possession of Class A and Class B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and handling stolen goods. The operation also saw arrests for suspected handling of stolen goods elsewhere in the policing area, while a fly-tipper had their van seized and was dealt with through a community resolution. Chief Inspector Ryan Davenport said: "The operation brought teams together to disrupt criminality and keep our communities safe. More operations are planned as we continue targeting those who commit acquisitive crime." Anyone with information about crime in their area can report it via www.herts.police.uk/report or call 101. In an emergency, always dial 999. | ||
